“Putin Relocates Daughters to High-Security Estate Amid Assassination Fears”

Must read

Russian President Vladimir Putin is reportedly anxious about potential assassination attempts, prompting him to relocate his two older daughters to his heavily guarded forest estate valued at £1.4 billion. The 73-year-old Kremlin leader is said to be increasingly concerned about the lack of progress in the Ukrainian invasion and the declining Russian economy.

To address his fears, Putin has initiated urgent assessments of Russia’s surveillance camera system to prevent potential hacking that could compromise his security at the Valdai Palace. His heavily fortified residence in the Novgorod region, where he resides with his partner Alina Kabaeva and her two children, features its own air defense mechanisms.

Despite facing challenges in defending against drones used by Ukraine, Putin has bolstered security with armed guards and anti-missile systems. Recent incidents, such as a drone attack on St. Petersburg during a trade forum, have highlighted vulnerabilities in his security measures.

Refusing direct meetings with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky following public criticism, Putin remains on high alert after the assassination of Iranian Ayatollah Khemenei due to a surveillance breach. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine underscores Putin’s reluctance to engage in ceasefire negotiations, despite pressure from Zelensky.

In response to escalating security concerns, reports indicate that Putin’s daughters Maria Vorontsova and Katerina Tikhonova have relocated to the Valdai palace, known for its advanced security features and a state-of-the-art bunker. The move aims to ensure the safety of his daughters and grandchildren from potential threats.

While the Valdai residence is located approximately 230 miles northwest of Moscow, Putin’s daughter Luiza Rozova is believed to primarily reside in Paris. Notably, Putin’s ex-partner Svetlana Krivinogikh, Maria Vorontsova’s mother, plays a role in Putin’s longevity initiatives, while Katerina Tikhonova is involved in Russian scientific and technological advancements.

Following his divorce from former Russian first lady Lyudmila Putina in 2014, Putin faces challenges on multiple fronts, including the toll of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and economic downturn in Russia exacerbated by drone attacks from Ukraine.
