Apple has rolled out a crucial update for iPhone users experiencing wireless charging issues. A limited number of users are affected by a glitch that hinders wireless charging, forcing them to rely on MagSafe charging instead.
The affected devices, including the iPhone 17 range and the iPhone Air, require the update to address the charging problem. Users can easily update their devices by navigating to Settings, selecting General, and then choosing Software Update. The update, labeled iOS 26.5.1, is sizable at 13.6GB, so a stable Wi-Fi connection or unlimited mobile data is recommended.
Additionally, Apple is gearing up for its annual WWDC Developers Conference starting on June 8, where the unveiling of the new iOS 27 upgrade is anticipated. This update is expected to introduce new features and enhance the devices’ AI capabilities, making them more intelligent. Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, expressed excitement about the event, emphasizing innovation and collaboration within the global developer community.
Mirror Online will provide real-time coverage of the WWDC event, commencing at 6pm BST. Stay tuned for the latest updates and news from the conference.
