Sky has unveiled upcoming changes to its television channel lineup, set to take effect imminently. Sky Showcase and Sky Max will halt their broadcasts on Tuesday, February 24. However, subscribers need not fret, as Sky is reintroducing the beloved Sky One channel to fill the void left by the closures.
Launching tomorrow, Sky One will showcase a diverse range of comedy and entertainment programs, including new offerings like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby, as well as returning favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs. and The Paper and Ted.
Moreover, Sky One will be the exclusive home of Saturday Night Live UK, premiering later this year. Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, expressed excitement about the channel’s relaunch, emphasizing its unique and energetic content selection tailored to viewers’ preferences.
To access Sky One, tune in to channel 106 starting tomorrow, February 24. Additionally, Sky is rolling out a new subscription plan called Ultimate TV for £24 per month. This plan grants customers access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the forthcoming HBO Max app, along with over 130 premium channels like Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, and Sky Crime.
Furthermore, subscribers to the Ultimate TV plan will enjoy a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated into the TV guide, allowing seamless viewing of Hollywood hits without switching apps. The comprehensive £24 plan includes various streaming services and a vast array of premium channels, catering to diverse entertainment preferences.
