In response to comparisons with an Australian-style ban, Ms. Kendall highlighted that the UK’s consultation encompasses a broader spectrum of concerns, including children interacting with strangers on gaming platforms and the impact of addictive features like infinite scrolling and AI chatbots.

Additionally, an AI bootcamp initiative will be introduced nationwide to provide employment pathways for at-risk youth who are not engaged in education or training.
