A collision involving a van and tourists in South Korea has resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left eight others with severe injuries. The incident occurred in Yeonpyeong-ri, Udo-myeon, Jeju-si, where the van reportedly accelerated suddenly into a crowded area. Two victims experienced cardiac arrests and succumbed to their injuries, while the remaining eight individuals sustained various degrees of injuries and were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Jeju Fire and Safety Headquarters reported that the crash took place around 2:47 pm local time. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
