Construction workers in Poland made a chilling discovery as they uncovered the remains of 29 unborn babies at a family home. The bodies were found during excavation on private land, leading to the arrest of a 52-year-old woman identified as Magdalena H.
Authorities are investigating the suspect for desecration of a corpse and improper disposal of hazardous waste, offenses that carry potential jail time of two to 12 years. Additionally, a substantial amount of medical waste, such as paraffin blocks and microscope slides, was discovered on the property.
The current property owners, in the midst of renovations, alerted the police to the finding, triggering a significant emergency response. Law enforcement is continuing excavation efforts, with searches anticipated to extend into the following week.
Reports from local media revealed that the District Prosecutor’s Office received initial information about the medical waste discovery on June 10. The waste included fetal remains and fragments, confirmed by medical experts to be human fetuses.
