Sky is set to introduce a new offering in 2026. The TV service provider has announced the launch of an updated Ultimate plan that combines its premium channels such as Sky Atlantic, Sky One, and Sky Documentaries with Netflix and Disney+ for a single monthly fee. Additionally, the upcoming HBO Max will be included when it debuts later this week, providing access to a variety of popular shows on demand at no extra charge. Furthermore, subscribers will soon have access to Hayu, which will bring a diverse selection of reality TV content to audiences in the UK.
Although the full launch of Hayu is scheduled for July, Sky has surprised fans by offering an early sneak peek. A new feature called “Taste of Hayu” is now accessible, offering viewers over 150 episodes from some of the platform’s most renowned franchises.
Included in this preview are shows like Below Deck Mediterranean, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and Vanderpump Rules.
This preview is accessible to customers with the Ultimate TV package on Sky Stream and Sky Glass, as well as Sky Q and Sky+ users. Selected seasons can be watched on demand.
The complete rollout of Hayu in July will provide access to the entire catalogue, enabling reality TV enthusiasts to enjoy hundreds of additional series. Moreover, new episodes of major shows will be available on the same day as their US airing, all within the Sky TV package.
In an official statement, Sky expressed, “Reality TV fans are in for a treat, with a selection of Hayu’s most popular shows now available for Sky TV subscribers. Customers can enjoy select seasons of their favorites directly from their homepage, on demand, and included in their subscription—offering a glimpse of what’s to come before the full launch of Hayu on Sky in July.”
Hayu will join Netflix and Disney+ as part of the Ultimate package, with HBO Max set to join next week, followed by the full integration of Hayu later in the year.
The new £24 package includes:
– Netflix Standard with Ads
– Disney+ Standard with Ads (starting from March, date to be confirmed)
– HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching in the UK & Ireland on March 26)
– Hayu (full access from July, with preview content available from March)
– Over 130 Sky channels
