“Palawan’s Entalula Beach Tops World’s Best for 2026”

Must read

The world’s top beach has recently been announced, and it is truly stunning. Every year, The World’s 50 Best Beaches assesses various beaches worldwide to determine the most exceptional ones. The organization’s 2026 list reflects extensive exploration by judges, Beach Ambassadors, and the World’s 50 Beaches team across diverse beach locales. Last year, Italy’s Cala Goloritzé claimed the top spot with its awe-inspiring beauty. However, this year, the beach not only lost its first-place ranking but also dropped out of the top ten.

Among this year’s top ten beaches is a pristine destination situated within the protected Similan Islands National Park. Accessible only from November to May to allow the natural habitat to regenerate, this beach is known for its clear turquoise waters and unique rounded granite boulders. Boasting fine white sand and transparent blue waters, it is a haven for snorkeling enthusiasts.

In Cambodia, Koh Rong stands out for its unspoiled, lengthy stretch of powdery white sand. Accessible by boat, this bay remains largely undeveloped, offering a serene and peaceful environment. Strict development regulations and visitor limitations have helped preserve its natural charm.

Another gem is found in a protected natural area where a mushroom-shaped rock formation named ‘El Hongo’ adds to the beach’s allure. The long stretch of beach with a lagoon at one end and a sandbar leading to crystal-clear waters provides an ideal setting for leisurely walks and delightful swims.

Shoal Bay East in Anguilla is renowned for its tranquility and cleanliness despite its popularity. Visitors can relish the stunning white sand and clear waters in a peaceful setting. On Vomo Island, East Beach stands out as a secluded paradise sheltered by tall palm trees, offering a sense of calm and seclusion that sets it apart as one of the finest beaches globally.

Nosy Iranja, located near Madagascar, features two interconnected islands separated by a sandbar that emerges during low tide, creating a perfect spot for snorkeling alongside turtles. Wharton Beach in Australia is a hidden gem with pristine turquoise waters and minimal crowds, nestled in the Duke of Orleans Bay area.

Fteri Beach on Kefalonia, accessible by boat or a challenging hike, offers a secluded cove surrounded by towering white cliffs. The crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea enhance the beach’s rare beauty.

Topping this year’s list is Entalula Beach in Palawan, described as a must-see destination with towering limestone cliffs framing a stretch of soft white sand. Accessible only by boat, Entalula Beach remains tranquil despite its extraordinary beauty.
