“Newlywed Tragedy: Young Couple Laid to Rest Together”

Must read

A tragic event unfolded as a young couple, recently wed, were laid to rest together after both passed away within days of each other. Adam Hencek, aged 23, passed away unexpectedly at their residence, followed shortly by his husband Tomas Feuller, aged 25. These events occurred just a month after their joyous wedding day.

The couple, both from Slovakia but residing in Carrick-on-Suir, Tipperary, were mourned by their families, including Adam’s parents Peter and Lubica and Tomas’ grandparents Jozefa and Milan. In response to the tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign was initiated on June 9 by Adam’s aunt, Mirka Kohutovičová, to assist with the funeral expenses.

Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support, Mirka acknowledged the generosity of donors, which swiftly raised €12,070 (£10,352) on the day of the campaign launch. The donations facilitated the planned wake and cremation for the departed newlyweds.

Following a public viewing at Condons Funeral Parlour in Clonmel, the couple was privately cremated at the Island Crematorium in Cork. The community of Carrick-on-Suir mourned their loss, with heartfelt tributes pouring in for the couple.

Friends and acquaintances paid their respects, with Josephine honoring Tomas as a bright light now shining as a star, and Daisy Wn reminiscing about Adam’s skills as a piano teacher and his gentle demeanor. Karen Douglas fondly remembered the couple’s infectious energy and zest for life.

The untimely passing of this young couple has deeply impacted those who knew them, leaving a void in the hearts of their loved ones and the community they were a part of.
