Motorola has introduced a strong competitor to the Android market with the launch of the new Motorola Edge 70 Max, challenging Samsung’s dominance. The standout features of the Edge 70 Max, including a massive battery and ultra-fast charging capabilities, set it apart from Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy phones.
Inside the Edge 70 Max lies a significant 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, offering extended usage time for activities like streaming, gaming, and browsing. Unlike conventional lithium-ion cells in Samsung devices, the silicon-carbon technology in the Edge Max provides more energy without adding bulk or weight to the phone.
When the battery needs a boost, Motorola’s 90W TurboPower charging technology steps in to rapidly recharge the battery. Motorola claims that just six minutes of charging can provide enough power for a day, surpassing Samsung’s current 60W wired charging capabilities.
The Edge 70 Max has already garnered praise from experts at DXOMARK, earning the prestigious Gold Label for its exceptional battery life and charging performance.
In addition to its impressive power features, the Motorola Edge 70 Max offers flagship specifications. It boasts a sharp 6.82-inch Quad HD+ (2K) display and is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, enabling seamless performance for gaming and AI applications. The phone also incorporates a large vapour chamber cooling system to maintain optimal temperatures during intensive tasks.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the AI-powered camera system on the Edge 70 Max, featuring a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a dedicated macro lens for close-up shots.
Notable highlights of the Edge 70 Max include an aircraft-grade aluminum frame, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, water resistance, and a premium design available in Pantone Aqua Gray, Pantone Dark Shadow, and Pantone Ice Melt.
According to Wilkin Lee, Head of Marketing UK & Ireland at Motorola, the Edge 70 Max is designed to offer a seamless blend of technology and aesthetics, delivering premium entertainment experiences without compromise. The Motorola Edge 70 Max is currently available for purchase in the UK at a price of £699.99.
