“Mother Allegedly Orchestrates Murder for Custody”

Must read

A woman was taken into custody for allegedly orchestrating the killing of a young mother in a bid to gain custody of her daughter. Gabrielle Cristine Pinheiro Rosário, 21, surrendered to authorities after the fatal shooting of Laís de Oliveira Gomes Pereira while she was out with her youngest child. The incident, which occurred in Sepetiba, Rio de Janeiro, stemmed from a custody dispute over the victim’s four-year-old daughter. Rosário, 25, reportedly hired two individuals to carry out the attack on the victim on a city street.

Law enforcement officials swiftly acted on the case, citing evidence such as witness accounts and cell phone records to link Rosário to the crime. Following her arrest, a police spokesperson confirmed that the investigation had concluded, asserting that Rosário had indeed ordered the murder. The authorities plan to seek pretrial detention based on the collected evidence.

In response to the accusations, Rosário’s legal representative denied any knowledge of the two men implicated in the crime. Reports suggest that the suspects were compensated approximately 20,000 Brazilian Real (around £3,000) for their alleged involvement. Police investigations revealed Rosário’s intense interest in the victim’s daughter, as evidenced by text messages and her connection to the hired assailants.

The tragic incident follows the conviction of an adult film star for the murder of her ex-husband, who was found dead under disturbing circumstances. Devyn Michaels, 47, faces a potential life sentence for the killing of her former spouse, Johnathan Willette, 46, whose body was discovered mutilated at his residence. Prosecutors disclosed that Michaels harbored resentment towards Willette after he gained sole custody of their children, leading her to carry out the gruesome act.

During Michaels’ trial, prosecutors presented compelling evidence, including crime scene photographs and statements from the defendant. Michaels admitted to using a blunt object during what she claimed was a massage session that ended fatally for Willette. The trial proceedings included video footage of Michaels recounting the events to law enforcement, indicating her involvement in the crime.
