“Marks & Spencer Unveils Cash Discounts in Sparks Program”

Must read

Marks & Spencer has introduced changes to its Sparks loyalty program to offer customers cash discounts. Shoppers can now accumulate cash in their new digital Sparks wallet, accessible through the M&S app, by making purchases in various product categories. The discounts will vary weekly depending on the customer’s shopping habits.

M&S has provided examples of potential perks, such as earning £10 in the Sparks wallet for a £50 expenditure on fashion, home, and beauty, or £6 for spending £30 on nightwear. Other incentives include receiving £5 in the Sparks wallet for a £35 purchase on food or £1 for buying £10 worth of fresh fruit.

Additionally, customers will receive rewards for purchasing specific items together, like getting £5 back when purchasing a bra and knickers. Sparks members can also earn cashback for buying from departments they don’t typically shop in.

Furthermore, Marks & Spencer has partnered with Virgin Red, offering customers more opportunities to boost their Sparks wallet. For instance, customers may receive £130 in their wallet when booking a Virgin Atlantic Holiday or £80 back for switching to Virgin Media. To take advantage of this, customers need to link their Virgin Red account to their Sparks membership via the M&S app.

The company has assured customers that some of the existing Sparks perks will remain, including free birthday treats, coffee stamps for a complimentary drink after six purchases, exclusive currency rates, and discounts on insurance policies.

Sharry Cramond, Marketing Director of Fashion, Home & Beauty and Loyalty at M&S, expressed excitement about the revamped Sparks program, emphasizing its focus on personalized offers and direct cash rewards for customers to spend at M&S as they wish. The program aims to empower customers by rewarding their purchases and encouraging them to explore new products while enjoying tailored benefits.
