This enhancement, available through the airline’s app, aims to provide customers with accurate details to ensure a smooth travel experience.
The upgraded app also offers features that allow passengers to easily locate their Jet2 in-resort Customer Helper, providing information on meeting times, locations, and the helper’s name. This added convenience is designed to offer holidaymakers quick access to assistance and holiday-related information.
The timing of this update coincides perfectly with the busy summer travel season, offering passengers instant access to vital flight details at their fingertips. According to Chronicle Live, Jet2’s Chief Customer Officer, David Hills, emphasized the airline’s commitment to enhancing customer experience through digital innovation. Jet2’s previous introduction of the ‘Live Transfer Status’ app feature allowed travelers to track their coach transfers in real-time, covering various destinations. Additionally, Jet2 advises passengers to take action at least 12 hours before their flights, encouraging them to check for the latest flight information on the airline’s website. The airline recommends arriving at the airport at least 2 hours before departure and emphasizes the importance of checking in desks closing 40 minutes before departure.
