BTS Members Criticized for Attending Chris Brown Show

Must read

Korean pop sensation BTS is facing criticism from some of their fans following their attendance at a Toronto show by controversial American artist Chris Brown. Members J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok) and RM (Kim Nam-joon) were spotted at Brown’s concert at Rogers Stadium, where he was co-headlining with Usher. BTS is set to perform at the same venue on August 22 and 23.

Photos posted on Brown’s Instagram showed J-Hope and RM posing with the singer, and videos on social media captured them dancing and enjoying the show. Brown has a troubled history, including a criminal record and multiple assault charges dating back to 2009 when he assaulted singer Rihanna.

Despite the backlash, there are mixed reactions among fans, with some expressing disappointment in the BTS members for associating with Brown. However, others defended J-Hope and RM, suggesting they might have attended the show to see Usher and emphasizing the importance of not making assumptions about their character based on one event.

BTS representatives have not responded to requests for comments on the issue.
