The enhanced British Airways app is being gradually rolled out to customers, with more features and updates anticipated in the coming months. Plans are also in place to implement a live baggage-tracking feature within the app for travelers and expand the self-service offerings.

Colm Lacy, the Chief Commercial Officer at British Airways, emphasized the app’s focus on incorporating essential features based on customer feedback, with ongoing improvements and innovations planned to provide a seamless digital experience for travelers.
Additionally, the app will offer exclusive services to British Airways Club members, allowing them to track their Avios points, Tier Points balance, and status progress. Members can also view statements, update personal information, save passport details for future flights, and easily access redeemable vouchers.
The mobile app is downloadable for free on iOS and Android devices, providing easy access to the enhanced features. British Airways has also advised passengers to carry a copy of their medication prescription while traveling to avoid potential delays at security checkpoints. This precaution is recommended to ensure travelers have essential medication readily available in case of any luggage delays.
