“Russian Man Arrested for Drugging, Assaulting Nannies”

Must read

A man in Russia has been apprehended on charges of drugging, sexually assaulting, and vanishing young women he enticed to care for his nine-year-old son.

Dmitry Artamoshin, aged 46, is accused of poisoning, physically harming, and sexually exploiting women he recruited as nannies before confining them within his residence in Zvezda, Moscow. Authorities are currently seeking two missing women who are suspected to have been murdered.

The suspect’s frightened son is now receiving care from psychologists after being forced to witness the assaults and subjected to abuse if he disobeyed. Reports from law enforcement indicate that the child is traumatized, suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and bearing scars and injuries.

The boy was also allegedly instructed to drive his father’s vehicle to procure alcohol. He was purportedly made to consume a foul-tasting liquid that led to him losing consciousness, believed to be the same drugged substance Artamoshin administered to his female victims.

One survivor who managed to escape recounted facing near-death experiences three times. She mentioned that initially, the suspect appeared pleasant to her.

Artamoshin’s wife, who fled their home in March, claimed to have been raped, drugged, and assaulted. Following her escape and subsequent hiding, Artamoshin attempted to locate her by posting messages urging her return. Authorities are urging any additional female victims to come forward.

The suspect allegedly recruited the nannies through online adverts. A neighbor remarked, “We had no inkling of what was occurring. He seemed like an ordinary gardener with a school-aged child.”

Artamoshin has been formally charged with two homicides, despite the absence of any clues regarding the whereabouts of the missing nannies. He also faces accusations of rape, sexual abuse, and coercion involving drug use.

Reports suggest that the suspect could be sentenced to life imprisonment unless psychiatric evaluations deem him unfit, potentially leading to his indefinite confinement in a secure facility.

Artamoshin previously worked as a used car salesman, branding himself as “The Great One.” According to news outlet Shot, he displayed a keen interest in numerology, particularly fixating on the number 27.

The two missing women vanished on the 27th day of different months. Artamoshin’s birthday falls on August 27.
