The incident took place at the exit of Parliament Square in Ramsey, leading to the cancellation of the day’s remaining schedule as authorities managed the situation.

A statement released by the event organizers explained that the session was promptly halted, and all racing activities on the Mountain Course were suspended to facilitate the response to the serious incident. The competitor involved was transported to Nobles Hospital with leg injuries but was conscious and communicating. Additionally, eight spectators required medical treatment and were also taken to the hospital for further evaluation.

Following standard protocols, an investigative process involving race, medical, and safety personnel has been initiated to understand the incident thoroughly. The organizers expressed gratitude to the marshals, medical teams, emergency services, and all individuals involved in the response. The event extended thoughts to those affected by the incident.

The Isle of Man TT Races, covering a 37.7-mile (60km) Mountain Course on closed public roads, is scheduled to continue until June 6, 2026. In a separate incident, the Southern 100 confirmed the unfortunate passing of rider Alan Oversby during the Pre-TT Classic Road Races on the Isle of Man.
