Must read

In a recent announcement by NS&I, the Premium Bond results for July 2026 were revealed, bringing luck to two individuals who are now £1 million richer.

The first fortunate winner, residing in Reading, holds £49,931 in Premium Bonds, just shy of the maximum limit of £50,000. Their winning bond number, 250TP871786, was obtained in July 2015.

The second £1 million winner hails from Warwickshire, with £14,000 invested in Premium Bonds. Their winning bond number, 217AV429216, was purchased back in January 2014.

Andrew Westhead, NS&I Retail Director, shared the exciting news, stating that Agent Million had brought life-changing surprises to the two lucky individuals. The total prize pool for the month exceeded £433 million, with over six million tax-free prizes awarded, an increase of £57 million compared to the previous month.

NS&I encourages all Premium Bonds holders to check if they are winners this month by downloading the NS&I prize checker app available from Thursday 2 July.

Premium Bonds, a savings product by NS&I backed by the Treasury, offer a unique way to participate in a monthly prize draw instead of earning interest on savings. Prizes range from £25 to £1 million, with odds of winning now at 22,000 to 1 for each £1 bond.

Despite the increase in the prize fund rate to 3.8%, with an estimated additional 322,000 prizes monthly, there remain only two £1 million prizes up for grabs. Winners are notified by email or text message and can choose to receive the prize money in their bank account or reinvest it in Premium Bonds.

To check if you are a winner, use the NS&I online prize checker tool or the Premium Bonds prize checker app. Currently, more than 22 million individuals hold Premium Bonds, eagerly awaiting their chance to strike it lucky.
