Jet2 has revealed plans to introduce flights and vacation packages to Tunisia in the summer of 2027, with reservations now open for travelers seeking a getaway between May 1 and October 31 next year.

The travel company will provide new flight routes from Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, and Manchester. Those booking a holiday package will have the option to select accommodations ranging from 3 to 5-star hotels located in various resorts such as Port el Kantaoui, Skanes, Mahdia, Sousse, Yasmine Hammamet, and Hammamet.

All flights are scheduled to land at Enfidha–Hammamet International Airport in the northern region of Tunisia, near the capital city of Tunis and several popular coastal destinations.

Jet2’s updated flight timetable will include twice-weekly flights departing from Birmingham and London Stansted on Wednesday and Saturday, along with two flights per week from Manchester on Tuesday and Friday. East Midlands and Leeds Bradford airports will have weekly flight services.

Upon arrival, tourists will have numerous attractions to explore, from the historic Medina of Hammamet to the picturesque beaches of Sousse. Visitors can also embark on excursions to the Roman Amphitheatre of El Jem, renowned for its gladiator combats and captivating history.

Venturing further south, travelers can immerse themselves in desert landscapes and visit the filming sites of the original Star Wars trilogy. Additionally, they can discover traditional Berber dwellings carved into the mountains.

A day trip to Tunis offers a vibrant experience, featuring bustling markets, mosques, and historical landmarks within the city’s colorful medina. The Bardo National Museum is another must-see destination, showcasing a vast collection of Roman mosaics and artifacts from the ancient trading hub of Carthage.

This development expands Jet2’s summer 2027 destination portfolio to 70, with recent additions including services to Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt, as well as Kavala in Greece.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2, commented, “Tunisia’s year-round sunshine, rich culture, and diverse attractions cater to a wide range of preferences, making it a highly anticipated destination for travelers.”

Fakhri Khalsi, acting UK Director at the Tunisian National Tourist Office, expressed enthusiasm about the launch of Jet2’s holiday and flight programs to Tunisia, emphasizing the significance of this initiative in bolstering Tunisia’s stature as a premier Mediterranean destination.
