Freeview’s future is uncertain as more households are transitioning to streaming services, potentially leading to a decrease in aerial use. Adding to the competition, the Manhattan Aero 4K TV Streamer, powered by Freely, has made a comeback with an expanded content lineup.
The Manhattan Aero 4K TV Streamer, utilizing Freely technology, enables users to access live content online instead of traditional broadcast methods. After a highly successful launch earlier this year, the device quickly sold out but has now been restocked to meet the surge in demand.
In addition to its return, the Aero now includes HBO Max, providing a diverse range of content from HBO, Max Originals, Warner Bros., DC, and more consolidated within one application. Notable shows like The Last of Us, House of the Dragon, Succession, and The White Lotus, along with blockbuster movie franchises such as Harry Potter and Batman, are available on HBO Max.
The integration of HBO Max enhances the Aero’s entertainment offerings, although a separate subscription is required, starting at £4.99 per month. For cost-conscious viewers, the Aero still offers a variety of free content through Freely, including over 50 live TV channels, on-demand shows, voice search, personalized recommendations, a comprehensive TV guide, and the ability to pause live TV.
Alex Arbab-Zadeh, Chief Operating Officer of Manhattan, expressed confidence in meeting the high demand for the Aero and highlighted the value of HBO Max’s premium content and sports coverage. Aiming to provide more value, additional apps will be introduced throughout the year for Aero users.
The Manhattan Aero 4K TV Streamer with Freely is currently priced at £89.99 and can be purchased from retailers such as Currys, Argos, and John Lewis.
