“Sky TV Customers Get Free Disney+ & More Upgrades”

Must read

Sky TV customers are in for a treat with a recent upgrade that includes free access to Disney+. This added perk, valued at £5.99, is part of the updated Sky Ultimate plan, allowing existing subscribers to enjoy a range of content from Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel at no extra cost.

The enhanced package doesn’t stop at Disney+. Sky is set to introduce HBO Max Basic and Hayu to its lineup soon. The integration of these services across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q will provide a seamless viewing experience, with Disney+ content easily accessible through features like Continue Watching, search, and voice control.

Furthermore, Sky Cinema subscribers will now have access to a dedicated Disney+ Cinema channel. For non-Sky customers, the new Sky Ultimate package is open to all UK households starting at £24 per month.

The £24 plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching on 26 March in the UK & Ireland), full access to Hayu (available from July), and over 130 Sky channels.

Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, Sophia Ahmad, emphasized the significance of these updates, consolidating Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription. Existing customers will benefit from the expanded lineup at no additional charge, and NOW Entertainment users will receive HBO Max within the app without extra fees.

Sky aims to simplify streaming and provide a more cohesive viewing experience with these changes, aligning with its commitment to enhancing the viewer’s entertainment journey.
