“Eureka! Science + Discovery Named Top UK Attraction”

Must read

The United Kingdom is home to a multitude of diverse family-friendly attractions, ranging from thrilling roller coasters and themed areas to water parks, beach resorts, museums, and national parks. Selecting the ideal day out, especially during school breaks, can be a daunting task due to the abundance of options available. However, according to a recent survey conducted by Which?, Eureka! Science + Discovery in Merseyside has been named the top-rated attraction in the UK. This accolade was based on feedback from over 5,000 trips submitted by Which? members and the general public, with Eureka! achieving an impressive 85% rating, surpassing popular destinations like Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, and Legoland.

Described as an indoor adventure park with educational elements akin to a science museum, Eureka! offers visitors the opportunity to explore six interactive zones, such as walking through giant lungs and experiencing a DJ session in a bathroom. The attraction also provides creative workshops and a variety of activities tailored for younger children.

Notably, Eureka! stands out for its minimal queues and lack of overcrowding compared to larger theme parks. Its affordable pricing structure is another highlight, with admission fees set at £16.95 for adults and children aged three and above, £7.45 for those aged one or two, and free entry for children under one, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.

Guest reviews further praise Eureka!, with one visitor on TripAdvisor commending it as an “excellent interactive science museum” suitable for children under 12. Another guest shared their positive experience of visiting multiple times with their family and highlighted the diverse range of exhibitions and interactive activities available for children of all ages.

Following its recognition as the top UK attraction, Eureka! Chief Executive Leigh-Anne Stradeski expressed gratitude for the acknowledgment from Which? visitors, emphasizing the attraction’s commitment to sparking curiosity in young minds through engaging and educational experiences.
