“Beware: Android Devices Vulnerable to Zero-Click Attack”

A critical security flaw has been discovered in Android devices, prompting users to stay vigilant for upcoming updates. This bug allows hackers to potentially compromise devices without any user interaction, known as a zero-click attack. Google has highlighted the issue in the latest Android Security Bulletin, emphasizing the risk of remote code execution without requiring additional user privileges.

Referred to as CVE-2026-0073, the vulnerability has been classified as critical by Google, underscoring its severity. Adam Boynton, Senior Enterprise Strategy Manager at security firm Jamf, expressed concern over the exploit, emphasizing the need for device-level defenses against such attacks.
