“Urgent Update: Android Users Warned of Critical Security Bugs”

Must read

Android users are urged to promptly update their devices as Google has released a crucial update to fix two zero-day rated bugs. Hackers are already aware of these vulnerabilities, emphasizing the importance of immediate action. While the number of affected users is believed to be limited, the potential risks warrant swift updates.

Adam Boynton, Senior Security Strategy Manager EMEIA at Jamf, highlighted the significance of the fixes for CVE-2025-38352 and CVE-2025-48543, which can compromise the device’s security and allow for local privilege escalation, respectively. While Pixel phones are expected to receive the update quickly, devices from other manufacturers may experience delays in implementation.

To safeguard against potential threats, Android users are advised to regularly check for updates and ensure their devices are running the latest software version.
