Police have launched an urgent search for two parents who have gone missing with their three children – one of whom is an 11-month-old baby.
Police Scotland has appealed for information that could lead to the whereabouts of the family after they disappeared from Edinburgh early this morning. Officers have concerns for Narcisca Baci, 28, and Serbanica-Ibram Saban, aged 32, who are believed to be with Bahara Denisa Baci, 13, Shakira Baci, seven, and Umut-yronn Saban, 11 months.
The couple and their children were last seen on Captain’s Road in the Gracemount area of the Scottish capital. Police have urged anyone who may have information on their whereabouts to get in touch, with officials saying their concern “is growing”, adding they want to ensure the children are “safe and well”.
Police Scotland Superintendent Murray Tait said: “Our concern for the family is growing and we would urge anyone who has information on their whereabouts to contact police urgently. We believe the children and their parents are together but we want to ensure they are safe and well.”
Anyone who may have information has been asked to get in touch with Police Scotland “urgently” via the 101 non-emergency number, quoting incident number 1380 of 16 January, 2024.”
It comes as police in Aberdeen continue searching for missing twin sisters Eliza and Henrietta Huszti. The 32-year-old sisters, who are part of a set of triplets, vanished in Aberdeen in the early hours of Tuesday, January 7, sparking a frantic search. As the hunt rolls into its second week, concerns have grown for their welfare.
Eliza and Henrietta, who are originally from Hungary, were last seen on CCTV on the city’s Market Street at Victoria Bridge at approximately 2.12 am on the night they disappeared. From thereon, they crossed the bridge before turning right onto a footpath that runs along the River Dee, heading in the direction of Aberdeen Boat Club.
