Ukrainian Navy Neutralizes Putin’s “Floating Bomb”

Must read

A significant event unfolded in Ukraine as they neutralized a potential threat from a Russian marine drone, dubbed as Vladimir Putin’s “floating bomb,” during a period when Russia intensified its attacks.

Explosions originating from Russia caused unrest in four Ukrainian regions – Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Poltava, and Zaporizhzhia. The Ukrainian navy took defensive action in the Black Sea by destroying a Russian marine drone that posed a danger to civilian maritime traffic.

Video footage captured the precise moment when the Russian marine drone, referred to as Putin’s “floating bomb,” was detonated in a massive blast. Despite demands from Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky for potent long-range Tomahawk missiles to counter Russia, the Trump administration declined the transfer, leading to tensions.

Following discussions with both Russian President Putin and Ukrainian President Zelensky, Trump halted the missile transfer prior to a scheduled meeting with Putin in Hungary. Reports described the meeting with Zelensky as intense and open, highlighting the complexities of the situation.

Recent aggressive actions by Russia resulted in a fire at a civilian food storage facility in the Poltava region and significant damage to residential and governmental structures, particularly in Zaporizhzhia. Trump emphasized the need for an immediate cessation of hostilities during this period.

Trump’s call for both sides to declare victory and halt the conflict was met with skepticism as Russia continued its attacks on Ukraine, reminiscent of past discussions between Trump and Putin.

Zelensky echoed Trump’s sentiments, agreeing that the conflict must cease, particularly emphasizing Putin’s role in initiating the war. Meanwhile, a significant explosion at a military-related plant in Russia’s Bashkortostan region resulted in casualties, impacting Russia’s military capabilities.

An investigation is underway following a mysterious explosion at a Russian military-linked plant, raising concerns of potential sabotage. In a separate incident, a Ukrainian drone strike caused chaos at a Russian power substation, leading to power disruptions in the region.

The resort city of Sochi faced heightened alert with drone warnings, while explosions were reported in Krasnodar region, prompting safety measures for residents and tourists.

Despite the escalating tensions, the night witnessed relatively fewer Ukrainian strikes on Russia. Additionally, new footage emerged showing a Ukrainian drone causing a fire at a Russian oil depot in Crimea, exacerbating fuel shortages on the peninsula.
