“UK TV and Internet Prices Surge: NOW Broadband Hikes £3/month”

Must read

Most major TV and internet providers in the UK have raised prices in 2025, predominantly in April. Sky has recently announced an increase in costs for users of its NOW broadband platform, adding an extra £3 per month starting July 4.

Users were previously informed about the upcoming price adjustments in May, and the changes are set to take effect soon. The modifications will impact customers on Brilliant Broadband, Fab Fibre, and Super Fibre plans who have subscribed via NOW bundles.

In response to the price hike, a spokesperson for NOW acknowledged that such increases are unwelcome but necessary to enhance and invest in their services. Customers were offered a 31-day window to leave the service without any charges upon the initial announcement of the price adjustment.

NOW advises users to review their contracts and consider switching providers if they wish to avoid the added costs. The company justifies the price changes as essential to accommodate rising expenses across various aspects of its operations, including wholesale costs and service enhancements.

For individuals with NOW contracts or those exploring new options, it is recommended to compare deals from different providers like BT, Virgin, and Sky, as well as emerging smaller networks offering competitive rates and faster speeds. Community Fibre, for instance, is presently providing free broadband for three months as a promotional offer.
