Black Sheep, a UK-based coffee chain, has unveiled its festive Christmas menu, featuring a variety of bold flavors and indulgent winter treats. The menu, launched on November 5th, includes unique offerings such as the Mint White Chocolate Chip Matcha and the Gingerbread Latte.
One standout from the menu is the Mint White Chocolate Chip Matcha, described as a blend of fresh mint and creamy white chocolate for a smooth and slightly cheeky twist on the traditional matcha drink. Despite not being a huge fan of matcha, I found this version to be a delightful balance of sweetness that counteracts the usual bitterness of matcha.
Another highlight is the Gingerbread Latte, a Christmas classic that exudes warm spices and sweet gingerbread syrup mixed with velvety espresso, creating a nostalgic winter indulgence. This drink showcases Black Sheep’s expertise in crafting excellent coffee beverages, with a perfect blend of spice and sweetness, topped off with whipped cream for an extra treat.
In addition to the drinks, Black Sheep introduced the Fuji Apple, Ginger & Caramel Red Bull Infusion, a surprising concoction that combines juicy Fuji apple, fiery ginger, sweet caramel, and Red Bull for a refreshing and energizing drink, perfect for the holiday chaos.
The menu also includes savory options like the Pigs in Blanket Ciabatta, featuring sausages wrapped in bacon with a cranberry glaze, and the Brie & Cranberry Toastie, a combination of creamy brie and tangy cranberry on toasted sourdough. While these sandwiches are tasty, the real stars of the show are the innovative and delicious drinks on offer.
