“TUI Holiday Package Skyrockets by £17 Million”

Must read

A recent incident left a traveler surprised when the cost of their holiday package skyrocketed by £17 million, making it akin to a “trip to the moon with NASA.” The individual shared a screenshot from the TUI website, showing the price hike from an initial £8 million to a staggering £17 million.

According to a message on the TUI website titled ‘The cost of your holiday has increased,’ the price surge of £17,349,02.34 was attributed to using flights from a third-party airline. The website explained that prices from the airline are updated multiple times a day, and fluctuations can occur when seat availability is confirmed.

Although the exact details of the booking were not disclosed, the traveler posted on Reddit expressing disbelief at the inflated cost, mentioning that even with a supposed £2 million discount, the £297 fare for both with flights seemed unrealistic for a 4-day trip to Athens.

The post garnered attention on Reddit, with users jokingly suggesting that the third-party airline could be NASA and teasing about layovers on the moon. TUI later clarified that the exorbitant increase was likely due to a technical glitch and apologized for any confusion caused.
