Tesco Mobile has enhanced its complimentary roaming service, benefiting customers traveling abroad. The mobile network now offers free roaming, including UK texts, calls, and data, in 48 EU destinations. Initially set to conclude in 2026, Tesco Mobile has decided to prolong this roaming feature.
Previously, mobile companies were prohibited from imposing additional charges for utilizing UK allowances – such as calls, texts, and data – while vacationing in the EU. Following Brexit, this regulation no longer applies.
Laura Joseph, the Chief Customer Officer at Tesco Mobile, emphasized the significance of staying connected for families. She expressed pride in extending the roaming offer to enable customers to utilize their UK data, minutes, and texts in 48 EU destinations and beyond at no extra cost. This seamless service eliminates setup hassles, hidden fees, and unnecessary stress while traveling.
