The thrilling continuation of Silent Witness’ Broken episode aired on Tuesday evening, captivating viewers.
In this latest installment, Dr. Nikki Alexander, played by Emilia Fox, conducted a post-mortem examination on the previously missing lawyer Faith, after a disturbing discovery early in the episode.
Shortly thereafter, the team received a signal from Faith’s car, which was found in motion near Epping Forest. To their surprise, the vehicle was engulfed in flames with a male body inside, later identified as Perry.
As the storyline progressed, a location obtained from the black box led the team to a shocking revelation, and DNA evidence compelled them to seek advice from an unexpected source.
The episode culminated in two additional deaths that rocked the team, unveiling the truth. However, viewers were intrigued by an unexpected connection to Coronation Street during the scenes.
A sign for Elm Court, where Faith worked, appeared in one scene, diverting attention to another name on the list – Miss Poppy Midgeley. Fans on Twitter humorously speculated about a potential relation between Poppy and Coronation Street’s Daisy Midgeley, portrayed by Charlotte Jordan.
