Ryan Thomas isn’t shying away from sharing his opinions about the Love Island villa, as he reveals why his brother Scott won’t stay with Tina Stinnes.
Earlier in the series, Scott formed a bond with India Reynolds, however things came crashing down when bombshell Tina made her grand entrance. Tina and Scott first met when they appeared on season 2 of the hit dating show, however, Scott was with Kady McDermott when Tina asked him on a date. The pair now have a second chance to get to know each other, as Tina, who also stars in Made in Chelsea, chose to ‘steal’ Scott off India, resulting in India being the first dumped Islander from the series.
However, Scott’s brother Ryan doesn’t seem convinced with the pairing, revealing to his Instagram followers why he doesn’t think the pair won’t stay together. Asking his followers if they think his brother Scott is ‘feeling’ Tina, the former Coronation Street star continued: “It’s a weird concept this Love Island isn’t it? If you’re not in a couple you are like an outcast it’s got to be lonely, look at Luca, I mean, it took him to tears the rejection,” referencing an emotional episode for Luca, who questioned ‘what he was doing’ in the villa.
It looks like Ryan thinks Luca would have been a better choice for Tina, as he continued: “But if I am honest Luca and Tina are more suited because I know that Scott seeing Tina necking about on the first day would be an off put.”
Luca and Tina didn’t hide their connection from the rest of the stars, as they openly shared a passionate kiss on the sun loungers on Sunday night’s episode.
“So today you can see him working it out what she’s like, checking what her personality is delving deep like he does in his motivational books and his therapy sessions,” Ryan continued.
“But he didn’t have a little kiss at bed time when the lights went off did he? No smoochy smoochy!” the star joked. “I’ve called it!” Before Tina’s arrival, Scott and India were seen sharing a kiss in bed, before things started to go downhill for the pair.
Both Scott’s brothers, Ryan and Adam have been invested in Scott’s second stint in the villa, as Scott revealed they ‘persuaded’ him to give the show another chance.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press, he said: “My brothers are so supportive of me. Adam was the one who really talked me into doing it. He said it makes so much sense, you need to go show the best version of you. We’re so proud of you now.
“We were proud of you the first time but the new Scott deserves a chance to show off all the work I’ve done on myself. And also they want to see me settle down and they want to see me with someone. They’re convinced I’m going to meet someone.”
