Russian state television has been advocating for the use of the Poseidon against the UK amid escalating tensions between the two nations. According to Kremlin-controlled media, the deployment of this weapon could result in catastrophic consequences for Britain.
Vladimir Solovyov, a wealthy Putin supporter and media personality, issued alarming threats directed at the UK, warning of the imminent danger posed by the Poseidon. He suggested that the British should prepare for the worst, emphasizing the destructive capabilities of the weapon and questioning how long the UK could withstand an underwater attack.
Furthermore, Solovyov recommended the evacuation of Russian diplomats from London and Edinburgh as a precautionary measure against a potential strike. He expressed disdain for Russian expatriates in London who oppose Putin’s regime, suggesting they should not receive assistance in leaving the country.
