Princess Andre has opened up on her relationship with mum Katie Price and admitted one thing has completely changed them.
Former glamour model Katie, 46, shares Princess, 17, and son Junior, 19, with her ex husband Peter Andre. She also has eldest son Harvey, 22, with ex Dwight Yorke as well as Bunny and Jett with ex Kieran Hayler. Princess has stepped into the spotlight in recent years as she carves out a career of her own.
She made an appearance on Katie’s latest documentary that explores her IVF journey. Princess had an open discussion with her famous mum about her wishes for more children. It made the teenager reflect on their own relationship, as she admitted the dynamic between them has changed i recent years.
“As you get older you have a different type of bond. It is not a mummy and daughter bond anymore, it is more a grown up bond,” said Princess.
Speaking about Katie’s wishes to have more children, Princess said she would support her and admired her dedication despite numerous set backs. “Mum is so determined. When she is determined to do anything, she will do it,” she said. “I guess that is inspiring because I have the same mindset, if I want something I work hard for it.”
Katie – who is already mum to five children – added “Being a mum to me is really important because I love giving love. That’s me, that’s who I am.”
Princess gave her own verdict as she added: “I say she loves kids because she is a big kid herself.” Katie Price: Making Babies was filmed in 2023, when Katie and then-partner Carl Woods documented their hopes of undergoing IVF to grow their family.
Last year, Princess hit back at claims she is a “nepo baby” and insisted she works for what she achieves “independently”. She made her modelling debut in January 2024, after signing a four-figure deal with PrettyLittleThing, but she isn’t keen to emulate her mother’s career entirely.
The model admitted she understands the comparisons but probably won’t go under the knife like her famous mum. Katie opened up about her kids being “nepo babies” in July, telling Hit Radios Breakfast Show: “My kids are definitely nepo babies and I know they’ve been bought up in the industry but they are talented in their own rights. It’s not my fault that people have picked up and want to book Princess and that Junior is talented!”
However, Princess is adamant that her own efforts are what count. “It honestly doesn’t bother me, because I know that’s not the case. Obviously, it has helped, but if you don’t put the work in yourself, you’re not going to get anywhere,” the teenager said. Princess has a large following as a social media influencer – but she hinted that she might produce music in the near future like her famous dad.
A fan asked: “Do you sing or compose any songs?” She replied: “Not at the moment but potentially in 2025/26.” Another fan asked her whether she had any plans for this year, to which Princess replied she has “so many big plans for 2025.” She added: “I’m still working on a lot but stay tuned.”
