“Pressure Mounts for Andrew Windsor to Testify on Epstein Links”

Must read

Pressure is increasing on Andrew Mountbatten Windsor to provide testimony on the Epstein files, as a recently uncovered private email exchange discusses allegations of the former Duke of York engaging in “consensual sex” with one of Jeffrey Epstein’s employees.

In a significant move last month, Andrew, aged 65, was stripped of his titles by his elder brother, King Charles III. All official patronages and military appointments linked to the Crown were also revoked, prompting Andrew to vacate Royal Lodge and move to a property on Norfolk’s Sandringham estate, no longer using the title ‘His Royal Highness.’

This development follows years of controversy surrounding Andrew’s association with Epstein, a convicted sex offender who died in 2019. Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein whistleblower, accused Andrew of having sexual encounters with her on three occasions when she was a teenage trafficking victim, allegations vehemently denied by Andrew.

US Lawmakers recently voted overwhelmingly to release the Epstein files, revealing an email exchange between Epstein and former New York Times reporter Landon Thomas Jr discussing Andrew. In the email, Epstein sought advice on separating himself from Andrew to mitigate ongoing scrutiny.

Thomas Jr’s email suggested that addressing Andrew’s involvement was crucial to moving past the scandal. When contacted for clarification, Thomas Jr indicated that he had read about the alleged encounters in the press and was not directly informed by Epstein.

President Donald Trump has called for investigations into Epstein’s connections, including with Bill Clinton, though no public allegations have been made against Clinton in connection with Epstein. The release of documents from Epstein’s estate has led to claims of innocence from Clinton and his foundation.

US officials have noted the UK’s swift action in stripping Andrew’s titles and have hinted at potential Congressional testimony for Andrew. A formal deadline for Andrew to respond to a request for a “transcribed interview” from Congress’s House Oversight Committee regarding his ties to Epstein has been set for November 20, 2025.
