Photo of Donald Trump checking his iPhone reveals president’s bizarre tech habits

Must read

Donald Trump was captured leaving the White House checking his iPhone – which revealed some of the 78-year-old’s bizarre tech habits.

Photographers were able to sneak a rare glance at Trump’s phone as he was on his way to his inauguration to be sworn in as the 47th president, and snapped an intimate shot of the screen which showed the president’s wallpaper background is a painting – of himself giving a thumbs up.

He also had a congratulations text from someone, a missed call from advisor Boris Epshteyn and even a news notification about his own inauguration, to which he was travelling at the time.

It comes as Trump marked the fact that his inauguration is occurring on Martin Luther King Jr. Day., saying in his speech that his administration will “strive together to make his dream a reality.”

“To the Black and Hispanic communities, I want to thank you for the tremendous outpouring of love and trust that you have shown me with your vote. We set records and I will not forget it,” Trump said. “We will make his dream come true,” Trump vowed of the Rev. King.

Trump referred to the assassination attempt against him, saying he was “saved by God to make America great again,” drawing a standing ovation from Republicans in the room while Democrats, including Biden and Harris, remained seated and still.

The president said the election has given him “a mandate to completely and totally reverse a horrible betrayal” he says has taken place, “and to give the people back their faith, their wealth, their democracy and indeed their freedom. From this moment on, America’s decline is over.

Speaking just feet from former Biden, Trump delivered a forceful critique of the federal government, which he says “cannot manage even a simple crisis at home.”

He cites the wildfires in California and flooding in North Carolina, crises about which he has repeatedly spread incorrect claims. He also points to “a continuing catalogue of catastrophic events abroad” and illegal immigration. “My election is a mandate to completely and totally reverse a horrible betrayal,” he said.
