Paultons Park has emerged victorious in a competitive field that included Thorpe Park and Alton Towers to claim the prestigious title of Theme Park of the Year. The UK Theme Park Awards recognized the Hampshire-based amusement park, owned and operated by a family, with ten awards. Paultons offers over 70 rides and attractions, notably featuring Peppa Pig World.
The park received accolades such as Best New Attraction for its innovative indoor dark ride, Ghostly Manor, as well as the Best Customer Service award and the Best Sustainability Initiative for its solar energy project. Paultons also secured top honors for Best Theme Park for Families and Best Theme Park for Toddlers.
Established in 1983, the family-run Paultons Park now spans 140 acres and showcases more than 80 rides and attractions, including the popular Lost Kingdom with its Jurassic theme and Tornado Springs inspired by Midwest America.
Paultons Park’s reputation extends globally, with Tripadvisor ranking it as the eighth best-rated amusement park worldwide and the fourth best in Europe in 2025. Situated in Ower on the outskirts of the New Forest, Paultons has garnered praise from over 7,500 visitors, earning an “excellent” rating, and maintains a high Tripadvisor score of 4.5 out of 5 from over 10,000 reviews.
Lawrence Mancey, the park’s marketing and technology director, expressed joy over winning ten awards at the UK Theme Park Awards, including the coveted Theme Park of the Year title. He emphasized the team’s dedication and the park’s commitment to providing exceptional family experiences.
Paultons Park’s efficiency in managing ride queues has been recognized, boasting 50% shorter wait times compared to other family theme parks. Looking ahead, Lawrence highlighted the upcoming launch of Drakon, the park’s first inverting rollercoaster, in the new immersive world, Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, scheduled for May 2026.
Peppa Pig World remains a major attraction at Paultons Park, offering a variety of rides and attractions that cater to families and children of all ages. The UK Theme Park Awards winners were announced during a ceremony held on September 18, 2025.
