Having contracted hepatitis C following a blood transfusion in 1987, Michelle endured years of health struggles before being diagnosed and commencing treatment. Determined to turn her anger into positive action, she founded support groups, collaborated with the Hepatitis C Trust, and contributed to the official government inquiry.
