Sci-fi enthusiasts are puzzled by a recent sighting of what appears to be an unidentified flying object (UFO) near an active volcano. Video footage captured by a webcam shows a mysterious glowing object hovering above the Popocatepetl crater in the Mexican states of Puebla and Morelos before swiftly darting away. The strange object seemed to be observing the volcanic activity as smoke and flames billowed into the air. The unusual event was recorded by monitoring cameras positioned at the base of the volcano.
Standing at an elevation of 17,802 feet (5,426 meters), Popocatepetl is among Mexico’s most active volcanoes. Despite the sightings, local authorities have not released any official statements regarding the origin of the enigmatic flying object.
On the same day, the National Center for Disaster Prevention documented 19 minor eruptions accompanied by vapor, gases, and minimal ash emissions from the volcano. They advised the public to steer clear of the crater and adhere to the prescribed 12-kilometer exclusion zone.
UFO expert Jaime Maussan previously suggested that Popocatepetl may serve as an “inter-dimensional portal,” enabling interstellar travelers to traverse different realms. He argued that no human-made object could withstand the volcano’s extreme temperatures, which reach approximately 1,000 degrees Celsius.
According to Maussan, research from the University of Bergen in Norway revealed the presence of magnetic storms beneath the volcano, essential for creating X-points that could potentially generate a Dimensional Portal. X-points are regions where Earth’s magnetic field intersects with the Sun’s, forming a pathway spanning 93 million miles from our planet to the Sun’s atmosphere.
In a separate incident, alien enthusiasts suspect a government cover-up following an aircraft crash near Area 51, triggering a thorough military investigation and sparking widespread speculation. The crash occurred on September 23, involving an unidentified aircraft on public land near the secretive government facility in Groom Lake, Nevada. The Creech Air Force Base confirmed the crash as an accident involving an aircraft from the 432nd wing responsible for unmanned aerial vehicles.
Although an initial internal inquiry has concluded, the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and the FBI have initiated a joint investigation, fueling conjecture among UFO enthusiasts. Criticisms have been directed at heightened security measures deemed dubious by some fans. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) enforced a temporary flight restriction covering a five-mile area east of Area 51 for national security reasons on the day of the incident. However, specific details surrounding the crash remain undisclosed, with limited information available to the public.
