According to Anna-May, the driver seemed to have accessed her social media profile by recognizing her name from the Uber booking. He proceeded to inquire about her profession and Instagram username, eventually pulling over to view her account and mentioning a refund for the ride.
After arriving home, Anna-May claimed that the situation escalated when she received a phone call from the same driver just 20 minutes later. The driver allegedly asked her to come downstairs as he had something for her, leaving her feeling unsettled. She decided to block his number after the call.
Following the incident, Anna-May, who hails from Wales and appeared on Love Island in 2023, expressed discomfort over the driver’s apparent knowledge of her personal details. She shared the story with her TikTok followers, highlighting her unease with the situation.
Some viewers raised concerns about potential data privacy breaches, prompting Uber to label the reported behavior as unacceptable and confirm that an investigation is underway.
