Love Island millionaire Maura Higgins’ luxe life from swanky new home to huge fortune

Must read

Memories will likely come flooding back for Maura Higgins as her former Love Island beau Curtis Pritchard returns to the villa.

This evening, Curtis, 28, will be going for another shot at Love Island: All-Stars, nearly six years after he and Maura first locked eyes on the show.

Although they appeared perfectly matched at the time, the former couple lasted just eight months in the real world. Now linked with another famous face, Maura’s time in the villa probably feels like an entirely different life.

The 34-year-old former Monster Energy drink model is now a bonafide celebrity, with some of the hottest brands on the planet vying to work with her. And her new luxe life in the limelight has afforded her plenty of glamour, from dream homes to lavish Christmas presents…

The Mail Online reports that Ballymahon-born Maura has reportedly splashed out a cool £1.25 million on a dream home with five bedrooms, including one with an en suite. Taking to Instagram, the Irish TV personality, who purchased the Essex property in October, appeared thrilled as she shared: ‘Bought my dream house’.

Having previously lived in a one-bedroom property in Essex, Maura’s recent purchase is a massive upgrade, with her gleaming new kitchen finished off with a chic waterfall chandelier and an enormous marble kitchen island.

The gorgeous property, which boasts a large walled garden and large, glamorous seating area, is understood to be located not too far away from Pete Wicks‘ West Essex bachelor pad. Whispers of a romance between the two close pals have been circulating for some time, although the rumoured couple have both denied the alleged relationship.

The new pad is said to be situated in a highly secure area, which will offer a lot of comfort to the star. Back in May 2023, it was reported that Maura had been left “shaken up” after three masked men broke into her home in an attempt to steal cars.

Speaking with The Sun at the time, a source said: “Neighbours caught it all on CCTV, and it was chilling to see three masked men ram through the gates and start trying to break into cars. There are a number of high-profile names in that complex and living in that area. It is worrying for everyone, including Maura.”

Back in November, Maura revealed she’d treated herself to a super-swish Porsche Macan – which comes with a price tag within the region of £60,000 and £98,000. Taking to Instagram at the time, with a pic of the covered car fastened with a festive-looking bow, Maura announced: “My baby has arrived finally.”

According to Maura, she made this lavish purchase after her last car “went up in flames”. In an Instagram story shared back in September, Maura vented her frustrations after experiencing a motoring mishap, sighing: “When your car goes on fire in the middle of London. Been here for over 2 hours now … Also car just had a service & MOT 2 weeks ago so that’s nice!! …. stranded Higgins GOD I LOVE RANGE ROVERS!!!!!”

And when it comes to slick motors, Maura makes sure to be generous with her loved ones. Back in 2021, Maura uploaded footage of her “speechless” mum, Sharon, weeping for joy as she opened her opulent Christmas present – a Mercedes Benz, that can cost as much as £60,000. Maura said at the time: “You deserve everything and more, Merry Christmas mammy.”

Maura has raked in an estimated fortune of £3.2 million thanks to her lucrative TV appearances, and the opportunities have come in thick and fast. As per the Mail, not long after leaving the Love Island villa in 2019, Maura earned an incredible £500,000 from her work with clothing brand Boohoo and saucy lingerie line Ann Summers. And this mammoth payday was no flash in the pan.

Mere weeks after the fifth series of Love Island wrapped, Maura and co-star India Reynolds kept their summer glow after being selected as Bondi Sands beauty ambassadors, for which they were paid a reported £70,000 each. Missy Empire, which offers many influencers up to £40,000 for promotions, also made sure to snap Maura up as soon as she landed on the runway.

One year after she rose to fame on the hit dating show, the reality star pulled in £150,000 from her stint on Dancing on Ice. By this point, Maura, who was still in her late 20s, was earning as much as £10,000 every single week thanks to social media endorsements, and things only continued to soar from thereon.

A successful PrettyLittleThing partnership in 2022 saw Maura release a very popular collection. Given that influencers can earn up to £100,000 per clothing edit, it can safely be assumed this collaboration made a considerable contribution to Maura’s escalating fortune.

It’s believed Maura could also earn up to £100,000 from L’Oreal through a mix of campaigns and social media posts. A similar sum is expected from her work with Huda Beauty. And it’s expected things could look even brighter in the future as Maura’s star continues to soar.

Love Island: All Stars is back on our screens tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
