Two new bombshells have entered the Love Island: All Stars villa to bring charm, charisma and drama to the sizzling dating show.
Long time fans of the ITV dating show won’t need to delve too far back in their memories to remember the latest editions – as season nine hunk Ron Hall and season 11 beauty Grace Jackson have returned for another roll of the dice. Ron, 27, was an OG star of season nine and made it all the way to the final when he partnered with Lana Jenkins – but the couple ended in second place behind ultimate winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan.
While Grace, 26, fared well as a contestant who sauntered into the villa on day 12 and lasted for over a month, and had a charming romance with co-star Reuben Collins – but they were dumped a week before the final. Now both are back as the latest entrants on the All Stars spin off – and they have love on their minds.
Asked why he decided to come back, Ron said: “I know it works from last time, I was a success story from it, I found love. Obviously it didn’t last, but, if it can happen again, great.”
Grace explained she wants to return because she is serious about finding love. She said: “I feel like at this time in my life I’m in a very settled place. I know who I am and I’m at the age where I’ve had enough of my single years. I’ve done everything I wanted to do in my single life and I’m looking to settle down and create a nice life with someone. What better place to do it than in the Villa?”
Ron hopes his simple charms will help him find a new girlfriend. He said: “I’m just the same lovely bloke I was last time, I genuinely am. I might be a bit cocky, but I am just a really nice bloke. I think people saw that I am one of the good ones.”
But vowing to do things different this time around, he added: “I’m going to care less about people’s opinions. I’m going to care less if people are talking about me behind my back. I will say my piece on it. I’m not going to bite my tongue as much as I did last time. I had Lana by my side and I didn’t want to put her in that position. I was very respectful of that. But I will say my piece to someone if they need to be put in their place.”
Reflecting on her time on Love Island last summer, Grace said she and Reuben still get on well. She said: “Reuben is one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met, there’s no bad blood at all, we’re just good friends and we still touch base from time to time.”
Speaking of the kind of man she hopes to match with this time, and admitting she has “got my eye on someone” already in the villa, Grace said: “I want someone that makes me laugh, who’s comfortable in themselves, someone that’s emotionally secure, motivated in life and someone that likes to travel and have fun. I want a best friend and a partner in one.”
Ron explained he wants to be won over before committing to one of the girls, saying: “I need to know them first. Forget attraction. Obviously attraction is important, but you do not know someone until you really get to know them on a deeper level. Kaz has a bit of a fiery side, it depends whether I can dig deeper.”
