Labour leader Keir Starmer has emphasized the significance of the recent Gaza peace agreement, stating that it presents the most promising opportunity for a two-state resolution in decades. Starmer urged all parties involved to embrace this moment to bring an end to what he described as a dark chapter in history.
Addressing the Parliament, Starmer highlighted the immense suffering endured by hostage families and civilians in Gaza over the past two years, calling for a collective effort to rebuild the war-torn region. Starmer commended the UK’s decision to recognize a Palestinian state, attributing it to the progress towards peace. Moran urged the Prime Minister to fulfill the promise of a Palestinian state, echoing the sentiment of her ancestors.
