Katie Price and Kerry Katona enjoy surprise night out at Cheshire pub for moving reason

Must read

Katie Price and Kerry Katona stunned locals at a pub in Cheshire when they turned up to support a charity event.

The iconic pair have been spending lots of time in grassy county in northwest England as they have been performing together in a pantomime production of Cinderella at the Northwich Memorial Court. On Saturday night, the ladies dropped into the Crown Inn in Lower Peover where a fundraiser was being held to support mental health needs for local young farmers.

Snaps from the event showed Katie, 46, posing with her jet-black hair pulled back into a tight, high ponytail and wearing a tight fitting black top and black glossy trousers. Meanwhile 44-year-old Kerry was radiant in a long-sleeve, charcoal coloured bodysuit and with her blonde hair draped around her shoulders.

The pair posed happily with locals – with snaps drawing attention on social media. The official Crown Inn Instagram page shared a snap of the ladies beaming inside the pub, and wrote: “Thank you to my lovely loyal friends Kerry Katona @kerrykatona7 and Katie Price @katieprice for supporting suicide in young farmers tonight both remarkable ladies.”

A comment from a fellow attendee shone more light on the evening’s events, revealing: “Both @kerrykatona7 and @katieprice both very under rated for what they both do for charities … so thank you for sharing.” They continued: “I was blessed to meet @kerrykatona7 at a business conference and she has a real glow and kindness and a massive aura. I have never met anyone on stage that is open about her feelings and wish more like it.”

The fan added: “Well done with your awesome cause as my uncle was a farmer so I know the incredible stresses our farmers are put under. Have a great 2025.” Kerry herself described the night as “so good” in an Instagram snap of her own – while Katie later revealed that her son, Harvey, “loved” his time at the pub as he joined his mum there.

The unexpected appearance has sparked a wave of support from locals – who hope to tempt the pair back for another event. One fan suggested Atomic Kitten star Kerry and one-time Eurovision hopeful Katie could return to perform a charity concert. They suggested: “you should get kerry & katie to do collaborative singing gig here on a weekend or bank holiday weekend.”

Kerry and Katie are reportedly getting on like a house on fire during their time in panto – with the former able to lean on her old friend for support after ending her relationship with fiancé Ryan Mahoney in November. Opening up about her relationship status to OK! earlier his month, Kerry said: “I’m a single woman and am in the best relationship of my life, which is with myself.”

She continued: “I’m feeling really good going into 2025 – it’s going to be a great year. I’m not heartbroken any more and feel like I know that Ryan wasn’t the one for me… I know people do things like Dry January and diets, but I don’t drink much anyway and like to work on myself every day, so I’m not into any of that. I’m just going to take it easy this month.”
