Jeffrey Epstein, a known figure, characterized Donald Trump as “corrupt” and “extremely wicked” in recently disclosed emails. These emails, part of a collection of 23,000 documents provided to the US House Oversight Committee by Epstein’s estate, shed light on Epstein’s interactions with various individuals, including discussions with Russian officials about how to handle Trump.
Among the revelations in the emails is a conversation from August 2018 between Epstein and Kathy Reummler, a former White House Counsel, regarding Michael Cohen, Trump’s former ‘fixer’. The exchange occurred amid speculation that Cohen might cooperate against Trump in an investigation related to payments to Karen McDougal, a porn actress. Reummler highlighted the issue of non-disclosure and Cohen’s alleged deception, to which Epstein responded by emphasizing his knowledge of Trump’s unethical conduct.
Subsequently, Cohen pleaded guilty to multiple charges, implicating Trump in various illegal activities. Epstein also expressed his disdain for Trump in emails to New York Times journalist Landon Thomas Jr, referring to Trump as “unbelievably evil.” Furthermore, Epstein disclosed his involvement in advising senior Russian officials on handling Trump, illustrating his attempts to exert influence globally.
Epstein’s correspondence with Thorbjørn Jagland, a former Prime Minister of Norway, revealed his efforts to engage with Russian diplomats and his critical assessment of Trump’s behavior. Epstein’s interactions with various individuals highlighted his perspectives on Trump and his attempts to influence international affairs.
