“Hyatt Place Heathrow: Setting New Standards in Airport Hotels”

Must read

Staying at an airport hotel is all about convenience for me, so I’m not too concerned about having a room with a nice view; as long as there’s a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom, I’m satisfied.

However, my experience at Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport has set my expectations sky-high moving forward.

Upon entering my room, it immediately became evident why this hotel is rated 4 stars. The room was notably spacious, featuring an inviting king-size bed, tea and coffee amenities, a generous bathroom with quality toiletries, ample storage space, and a desk next to a full-length mirror.

The standout feature of the room was the view from the window overlooking Heathrow’s bustling runway. Although I’m not typically one to watch planes, witnessing aircraft taking off and landing, especially on the eve of a trip, was undeniably thrilling.

Despite the proximity to the planes, the room’s soundproofing was impressive; I couldn’t hear the engines at all, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. The tranquility, comfortable bed, and blackout curtains allowed me to rest well, especially since I had an early 4 am airport departure the next day.

The room provided all the essentials for a pleasant stay, from a coffee machine to a spacious bathtub and shower, making it an ideal hub for preparing for a long day of travel.

Furthermore, the hotel boasts an on-site restaurant, The Gallery, offering satisfying meals at reasonable prices. I enjoyed a mozzarella salad, roast salmon, and delicious ice cream in a quiet dining setting on a Wednesday evening before retiring for the night.

In terms of convenience, Hyatt Place is well-situated for airport access. The hotel is serviced by the Hopper bus routes, a complimentary shuttle service to the terminals, with the first bus departing around 5:20 am. While an Uber ride to the airport cost me £13 for a quick five-minute trip, those not needing an early morning ride can utilize the free bus service.

In contrast to other nearby hotels, the pricing at Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport is reasonable, starting at £120 per night. Considering the room quality and runway views, it offers good value for money.

With 314 rooms available, guests can choose between rooms with runway or airport views, or opt for more budget-friendly options without guaranteed views but still maintaining a touch of luxury.
