While McIlroy has out-earned McKibbin on the PGA Tour this year, the gap between the two has significantly narrowed compared to previous years. McKibbin has managed to more than double his career earnings from the European and PGA Tours combined since joining LIV, although he still has a way to go before reaching McIlroy’s £80 million PGA Tour earnings.
Despite the earnings disparity, McKibbin has shown impressive growth and success in LIV, out-earning even seasoned players like Phil Mickelson this year. With his promising performance and high-caliber teammates, McKibbin is poised to become a formidable contender in the golfing world.
