“Freely TV Revolutionizes Traditional Channel Delivery”

Must read

TV viewing has evolved significantly in recent years, transitioning from traditional channel surfing to the convenience of on-demand content accessible via the internet. This shift includes the delivery of previously aerial-based programs through a service known as Freely.

Freely offers popular channels like BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5 over the internet, eliminating the need for a physical aerial connection. By simply connecting your TV to your home Wi-Fi network, you can effortlessly stream a wide range of content.

As a TV critic and technology enthusiast, I made the switch from using an aerial to embracing Freely TV with a Hisense E6N model, and I have been thoroughly satisfied with the experience. Priced at £249 on Amazon, this 50-inch TV provides 4K resolution with Dolby Vision, granting access to terrestrial channels via the internet, along with streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube.

The Hisense E6N model, which was initially priced twice as high upon its 2024 launch, now offers considerable value for money with its advanced features and affordable cost. This TV not only supports Freely TV but also integrates seamlessly with various streaming platforms, boasting a large 50-inch 4K Dolby Vision screen.

Freely’s introduction has revolutionized the placement of TVs in households, enabling users to set up TVs in any location with Wi-Fi access without the constraints of traditional aerial connections. Whether it’s for a kitchen or bedroom setup, Freely simplifies the process by leveraging Wi-Fi connectivity for seamless content streaming.

Hisense has made a significant impact on the UK TV market by incorporating cutting-edge technology into its range of TVs, catering to diverse consumer preferences. From budget-friendly models like the E6N to premium offerings such as OLED and Mini-LED TVs like the 75-inch Hisense U7, the brand continues to innovate and deliver quality products.

Apart from Hisense, Freely is also available on select Amazon Fire TV models like the Fire TV Omni QLED, offering users a versatile viewing experience. The 50-inch Hisense model ensures a vibrant 4K resolution display with enhanced details, making it ideal for various content types from Blu-ray discs to streaming services like Prime Video and Netflix.

With support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+, viewers can enjoy vivid colors and enhanced HDR highlights on the Hisense E6N TV. The TV operates on the VIDAA platform, providing seamless access to a plethora of streaming apps and even integrating Alexa for voice-controlled functionality.

For those who prefer traditional Freeview channels, the Hisense E6N comes equipped with a standard Freeview tuner. Transitioning to Freely for broadcast channels via Wi-Fi is straightforward, offering a reliable alternative to aerial connections, albeit susceptible to weather-related disruptions.

It’s important to note that while Freely enhances TV viewing convenience, its reliability can be impacted by adverse weather conditions, prompting the service to issue user advisories in response to signal disruptions earlier this year.
