“Flight Delayed Over Dispute: Woman Alleges Assault by Partner”

Must read

A major flight delay was reportedly caused by a woman involved in a dispute at the departure lounge, insisting on sitting next to her partner. The incident occurred on November 2 before boarding the aircraft. The couple engaged in a heated argument, with accusations of infidelity and inappropriate behavior. The woman alleged instances of sexual assault by her partner, claiming to have medical evidence to support her claims.

Upon boarding the Airbus A320 flight from Da Nang, Vietnam, to Hong Kong, they were assigned seats in different rows. The woman demanded a change to sit beside her boyfriend, leading to a delay in the HK Express flight UO559 departure. Despite flight attendants explaining that seat assignments could not be altered, the situation escalated, with the woman confronting crew members and causing a disturbance.

The woman reportedly pushed a flight attendant and was subsequently restrained by other crew members. After being warned about her behavior, she continued to act aggressively, resulting in her and her partner being removed from the flight. The aircraft eventually departed, arriving at Hong Kong International Airport approximately 71 minutes behind schedule at around 10:36 pm.

HK Express, known for its affordable fares and short-haul routes in Asia, operates as a low-cost airline based in Hong Kong.
