“Epstein’s Global Influence: Advised Russians on Trump”

Must read

Jeffrey Epstein reportedly claimed to have provided advice to Russian officials on handling Donald Trump, sharing insights shortly before the US President’s crucial meeting with Vladimir Putin. This information was disclosed in a collection of 23,000 documents submitted to the US House Oversight Committee by Epstein’s estate.

The documents revealed Epstein’s efforts to exert influence globally, including a 2018 email exchange with Thorbjørn Jagland, the former Prime Minister of Norway and then-Secretary General of the Council of Europe. In the correspondence, Epstein suggested that Jagland recommend Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov seek advice from him, referencing the late former Russian UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin.

Churkin, who had passed away a year earlier, was praised by Epstein for his understanding of Trump following their discussions. This communication occurred just before Trump’s summit with Putin in Helsinki, where Epstein later criticized Trump’s performance to former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers.

Epstein’s attempt to connect with Lavrov highlights his involvement in international affairs and his keen interest in influencing diplomatic relations. The revelations shed light on Epstein’s complex network and his interactions with prominent figures on the global stage.
